Skellige's crown goes to whichever an Craite Geralt helps in King's Gambit: Cerys if he joins her investigation, Hjalmar if he rides out with him. Help neither, skip the feast, or leave the quest unfinished when you come back to Skellige for The Sunstone, and Svanrige is crowned instead.

How it ends

Queen Cerys

King's Gambit

Geralt helped Cerys.

Journal

Birna was tried by a council of jarls. Though Geralt and Cerys presented damning testimony against her, for a moment it seemed the sly widow would escape justice. In the end, the final nail in her coffin was pounded in by her own son, Svanrige, who sensed her lie at once when she denied the accusations. Birna was given the sentence she deserved and disgrace covered the name of the once-proud Tuirseach family.

King Hjalmar

King's Gambit

Geralt helped Hjalmar.

Journal

Though Hjalmar was not able to uncover who stood behind the massacre at Kaer Trolde, the testimony he and Geralt provided clearly showed the hosts had not had a hand in it, and that those murdered during the feast had been properly avenged - thus clearing the an Craite family name of all suspicion. Crach and his children were still far from safe, however - the traitor responsible for the bloodshed remained at large, uncaptured and ready to strike again.

King Svanrige

King's Gambit

Geralt helped neither of them, or King's Gambit wasn't finished before The Sunstone.

Journal

In the end Geralt decided Cerys and Hjalmar were perfectly capable of taking care of themselves without his assistance. Meanwhile he had more important things to tend to - ones tied to Ciri. He thus left Kaer Trolde and let the investigation into the massacre run its own course.

Skellige's epilogue slide

The game checks Svanrige first, then Hjalmar, and shows Cerys when neither was crowned.

Skellige

Queen CerysGeralt helped Cerys.

While the Continent bled engulfed by war, Skellige bloomed under Cerys' enlightened rule.

Unlike those who had come before her, the young queen did not raid foreign shores, looking instead to her people, tending to her land.

The island-bound nation prospered, though its fangs of yore were dulled.

King HjalmarGeralt helped Hjalmar.

Though the war on the Continent had ended, Hjalmar refused to lay down his arms.

The young king pledged to raid and burn the shores of the Empire of Nilfgaard each spring. He meant to keep his word, even at the cost of drowning his people in their own blood.

King SvanrigeGeralt helped neither, or King's Gambit wasn't finished in time.

Many islanders believed Svanrige would be no more than his ambitious mother's puppet. The young king proved them wrong, ignoring her whims and ruling with an iron hand all his own.

Tired of the jarls and their endless feuds, he resolved to turn the Isles into an absolute monarchy modeled after those of the Continent.

What he resolved, he achieved, but only by shedding his countrymen's blood.
